Pantai Pasir Tengkorak

There's a legend on this beach. Locals believe that there was once a giant whirlpool ships off Langkawi island at the spot where the Straits Of Malacca join the Indian Ocean and the Andaman Sea. The whirlpool is said to have swallowed a number of vessels and deposited the skulls of the crew and passengers to Pantai Pasir Tengkorak.
